Full Story:-
This modern coaster has a carrying capacity of 3000 tons and a cubic capacity of 160,000 cbft in her single box hold. The holds may be sub-divided into three compartments utilising the two moveable bulkheads onboard.

The vessel was built in 1991 to Finnish Ice Class 1A for the Baltic timber trade and has a timber capacity of 4400 m3.

The vessel is currently undergoing her second special survey in Holland and is expected to enter service newly classed on or about 10th February.

The addition of the m.v. IVY brings the number of vessels in the size range 2300 to 3000 tons to twelve.
